I am putting together a book about the early homesteaders of Silverdale, Rauch and Greaney, Minnesota. This project gets bigger and bigger. I have been compiling names of the families of this area and hope to get all of them listed. I do not want to leave any one out of this as I feel each and every family contributed to the history and need to be recognized for their part even if it was only a small part. I have also compiled hundreds of pictures and will continue to do so. I will do my best to research all areas to get a true and accurate history for future generations to enjoy. About myself I am LeRoy Lehman the son of Leonard & Madeline (Eddy) Lehman, Grandson of George & Sylvia (Hanson) Eddy and Oscar & Mitilda "Tille" Lehman, Greatgrandson of Bengt Hanson. All settlers of this area. Pictured to the right is the first homestead of Bengt Hanson, built in 1909 west of the Rauch Store.
